Cycling 800 miles from Lands End to Norwich in just seven days is a task on the agenda for four local business men, in aid of Norwich-based cancer charity The Big C.  Chris Batten of ipatter.com, Lee Simpson, a Wealth Advisor for Towry, Stuart Flatt Training Manager at AFA and Colin Richardson, co-founder of Bigfork are collectively aiming to raise £20,000 for the charity by cycling the width of the country between Sunday 12th and Sunday 19th June 2011. 

The group will be traveling a minimum of 100 miles each day, staying as close to the coast as possible with the team using minor and B roads throughout the journey. An online diary will be kept updated daily, with the team also uploading pictures and videos so people can check up on the group’s progress. (www.4c4charity.co.uk)

The Big C provides cancer care and support in Norfolk and Waveney, with donations going towards cancer research and equipment. Since the charity was founded in 1980 it has raised £14million, much of which has funded important research at the University of East Anglia and local hospitals.
